Your Host
Hey, I'm Lindsay!- your resident Magical Girl High Priestess and Host of the "Hey Magical Girl!" podcast.
You may know me from my more 'mainstream' witchy offerings at DarkLake Tarot- where I provide intuitive Tarot and Astrology readings~ Here is where I personally combine my two passions- pop-culture analysis and witchcraft- into a podcast! What's a Magical Girl High Priestess? Just a nickname for myself *wink* My magical practice is an eclectic blend of Pop-Culture Magic/Spiritualism - which means elements of my personal practice utilize established mythos and iconography from various pop-culture franchises. These act as 'living myth' and avatars to much older, Archetypal energies that I work with- mainly because these franchises and characters have had a much lasting impact on my life than their more traditional depictions. [For example, I work a lot with Planetary Energies, but they are far more accessible and powerful to me if I imagine them as the Sailor Senshi than as their Greek or Roman counterparts!] |
